One last piece of "wisdom"

Okay, so in the last minutes of 38 I just have to say that from my observations when people break up, it's almost impossible to be friends. Does anyone know of a situation when that actually happened? Okay, now on to being 39. Goodnight and have a pleasant tomorrow...

My high school boyfriend and I were together on-and-off for 4 years, fought a lot for the last one, and I eventually left him for some jerk I met on the Internet. We didn't speak for a year or more, but now it's been 5 years and we've been friends for 3 or 4. He is one of my two dearest friends now...
