I had to work hard to come up with this list, as new music I like seems increasingly difficult to find. It does exist, however, proving that melody is not yet entirely dead. (A few "oldies" sneaked in, e.g., Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill" featured in Stranger Things and was legitimately a hit again and a few others marked by asterisks ** just because they meant something again.)
